Managed to put about 15 white trout and/or ground mullet in the box before we decided make a run into Fort Bayou. Read the rest of this entry »

Accompanied by Rob Langlinais on a picture perfect day our quest for the amazing tripletail began with a double-digit fish. Matter a fact, the day’s angling was one of the best I’ve enjoyed for tripletail a.k.a. “blackfish†in some time. Within a short time we managed to boat 9 fish in the 8 to 12-pound range. On this day there was a strong tidal flow, and all the fish seemed extremely aggressive in chasing down our offerings of fresh dead shrimp and squid. Read the rest of this entry »
