Biloxi, MS Fishing – Louisiana Marsh Fishing On Fire! Catch them Now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today was one of those days any angler would die for. Calm seas, warm temps, clear skies, and a nonstop bite from beautiful speckled trout and large powerful bull redfish. Needless to say, we easily caught our 3 man Louisiana limits of specks (75), all nice 15 to 19-inch fish, 4 small redfish 18 to 24-inches, and all the drag stripping 15 to 20-pound bull redfish we could stand.
Yes, it was a perfect outing, and the Louisiana marsh was simply full of hungry fish, well, at least where we were fishing. Found the fish in shallow grass beds and they were feeding on the masses of silversides that were spawning during the full moon period.
Caught them on popping corks with 2-feet of 25-pound-test Seaguar fluorocarbon leader material, 1/8 to 1/4-ounce jig heads, finished off with Cocahoe Minnows (chartreuse with red tail) , Salt Water Assassins (salt and pepper with green curly tail). Later in the day went to a Yo-Zuri Crystal Minnow, and it was nailing some really big trout and reds too.
The next couple of days should deliver great fishing in this “honey hole”, and hope to entertain a few more lucky anglers this week in this beautiful Cajun marsh realm. I am fully licensed to fish in Louisiana waters, and my new 2170 Blazer Bay bay boat is one fast and laid out fishing machine. It’s merely a 11-mile run across the Mississippi Sound to the Louisiana marsh, a fast trip in the Blazer Bay. So come join me for some fun, sun, and fishing adventures aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS. And for the laid back family outings, quick runs to the oyster and limestone reefs out of Biloxi, MS provide great angling for children. Hey, we’ve got it all in south Mississippi!
Remember…life is short…let’s fish!
