Fished the I110 Bridge spanning the Back Bay of Biloxi today with another fine catch of 70 or more white trout, 2 legal specks, one flounder, a few ground mullet, and plenty of ladyfish. On this trip I was accompanied by Rob Langlinais and Kenny Dewey aboard my new 19-foot G3. My double rigs consisted of SPRO Three Way Swivels, 2/0 Gamakatsu Octopus Hooks, and 30-pound-test Seaguar Flourocarbon leader material. Our bait was live and cut menhaden, and Kenny threw a Berkley Gulp Molting Shrimp with great results. Eventually I threaded some Gulp Shad onto my double rigs and proceeded to haul in the trout on these new biodegradable baits as well. Matter a fact; once the baits got chewed up I cut them into small pieces and continued to nail white trout. These are incredible baits that provide many fishing options. The new Gulp baits are for real! Early morning tide was extremely high and winds were light. Another excellent morning of light tackle bottom fishing.
