BLACK DRUM DOMINATES BITE & A ROUND OF WHITE TROUT ENDS TRIP WITH A BANG FOR FATHER & SON DUO!
Feedback from Guy Almodovar:
Hey Captain Brodie,
We got in late yesterday, and everyone was tired to say the least. It felt so good to get back in our own beds.
Fantastic job on the article. Randy has not yet seen it yet, but I am sure he will be thrilled. He told Kathy and I that was the highlight of this trip. The balloon fiesta and the rest of New Mexico was great, but second to this fishing trip.
Captain Brodie you have a first class operation, from yourself, boat, and gear. From start to finish, the knowledge, professionalism and friendliness was second to none. Randy and I would like to thank you so very much for a most memorable fishing trip.
Although my wife, Kathy, did not join us on this trip, she also thanks and appreciates the great adventure you provided.
I am planning on taking Kathy to Biloxi for her birthday in early February. We may do another fishing trip then. She may join us for this one. Give me an idea of what we would be fishing for that time of year.
You will be seeing much more of us in the future.
Thanks Kathy, Randy, and Guy
Today I had the extreme pleasure to guide Guy Almodovar and his son Randy to a morning of hot light tackle fishing action in the Back Bay of Biloxi and Biloxi Bay. Started out in the Back Bay, and there an excellent bite of black “puppy” drum turned on. It was fast and furious for a while, and when the drum catching spree was over they had 30 in the box. Oh yeah, they caught 4 large spots too. What a great way to start out the morning!
Gave the drum a rest, and then headed out to Biloxi Bay. There, a good bite on white trout kicked in, and on popping corks and cut bait, well, Randy and his father had a blast hauling in the white trout. We left them biting, but before the morning trip was over they slipped 35 beautiful white trout in the box too.
ABOVE: Is that a happy young man or what? He should be…because Randy Almodovar landed the majority of them on light spinning tackle while fishing in the Back Bay of Biloxi and Biloxi Bay aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS. Photo by Capt. Robert L. Brodie
What can I say…a father and son duo hauling in the fish…having the time of their lives…and keeping me busy taking off fish one after another. It just doesn’t get any better that that!
Guy and Randy, thank you both for being such fun fishing guests, and I hope you had as much fun catching all of those fish as I did leading you to them. Take care of yourselves, and looking forward to fishing with you both aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS in the future.
Regards and many thanks to all,
Capt. Robert L. Brodie of TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS
