NOW BACK TO CAPT. BRODIE’S LATEST FISHING REPORT…
ABOVE: Hailing from Hattiesburg, MS, Ron Smith, his son Kiah, and grandpa Ron Spielman caught their 3 man limit of beautiful slot redfish at Mississippi’s gorgeous barrier islands while fishing aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS. Today was another epic morning of shallow water sight fishing as schools of hundreds and hundreds of redfish surrounded the boat at times. In a foot of crystal clear water with the fish just feet from the boat it was a sight to behold. If you want a shot at these redfish be sure to book your trip aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS while the bite is hot. Contact Capt. Robert L. Although it was a bit windy the barrier island’s waters were crystal clear and swarming with schools of redfish. Casting jigs into the large pods of fish was extremely exciting, and the men had a great time seeing so many fish as well as catching their limits. Photo by Capt. Robert L. Brodie
ABOVE: Got your redfish in a row? Well, we do here at TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS, and they are running right now at the barrier islands. Ron Smith, his son Kiah, and grandpa Ron Spielman came down from Hattiesburg, MS to get in on the latest action, and it paid off big time for these gentlemen. It was a couple hours of some of the finest sight fishing anywhere in the world. The barrier island’s shallows were crystal clear, and dark masses of redfish could be spotted slowly prowling the shallows all about. Needless to say, casting into the masses of hungry redfish was quite thrilling, and multiple hook ups were common. The majority of these fish were just under the 30-inch slot limit, and will provide top-notch eating when the men get back home. These big schools of redfish have been running steady for a month now, so you need to book a trip to catch a few while the run is going strong. Photo by Capt. Robert L. Brodie
