Biloxi Charter Boat Fishing Report – March 3 2017

Last weeks fishing has been delivering a variety of fish including: redfish, southern kingfish aka “ground mullet”, sand sea trout aka “white trout”, and sheepshead. Weather conditions have been tough on fishing, as well as the scarcity of live shrimp. Got my hands on some bull minnows for the redfish, and these minnows are deadly on the reds, and speckled trout and flounders love them too. Also, got my hands on some fresh squid, the small gray variety, and the white trout and ground mullet go crazy over the fresh offering. Recent catches have been good despite fighting these setbacks, but good anglers and some dependable “honey holes” has put fish on the cleaning table. Yes its going to get better, much better, but Mother Nature is a force to deal with at times. The azaleas are already in bloom, and that’s a sight of good fishing on the way. Give me a call, book a trip, and lets get to catching! Tight Lines! #fishing
