Sunday, June 25, 2017 – Team Brodie Charters with another big catch on Sunday! Plenty of redfish, and loads of white trout and ground mullet!

TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS – Despite some really fresh and muddy water today my crew from Texas came in with a great haul of inshore fish. The group included Brent Carroll, Jerrod Carroll, Lane Carroll, David Carroll, and Jessica Kinder. These visitors from the Lone Star State fished well, and their efforts paid off! The big catch included 11 redfish (one a 38-inch brute), a 16-nick speckled trout, 6 black drum, and 145 white trout and ground mullet. My crew hung in there with me working hard for this fine catch. Today we caught fish where most anglers would have never thought, and we’ll just leave it at that! Jessica Kinder from Texas had her hands full with this bull redfish on a Penn Fierce spinning reel, 7-foot St Croix rod, 12-pound test Solar Trilene Big Game line, 1/0 Eagle Claw hook, and a 30-pound test Suffix leader. The big red fell for a small piece of cut croaker fished on the bottom. Out of our11 redfish this was the monster of the day.
